Crash course in walking on Christian Louboutin high heels

While I rarely wear Christian Louboutin pumps, I've had enough intermittent practice to offer a few tips. Generally the problem comes from trying to wear Christian Louboutin Fifi Strass Crystal covered round toe pump (that look really sexy when you're standing still, but really kill your feet) instead of picking a height that won't make you take baby-steps everywhere you go or choosing Christian Louboutin pumps with a wider heel for more stability. The problem is that those tiny spikes only hold you up if you land on them properly! Otherwise they slide off to the side or buckle under, either of which will make you look like a goof even if you don't really stumble. Buy your Christian Louboutin pumps a bit larger if you're going for the pointy toes, but make sure you don't have a gap at the back - blisters and sore toes is too much to take from one pair of Christian Louboutin pumps.

One of the keys is to lean your weight back, to avoid the temptation to walk on your toes - something with a wide toe box will be much more forgiving of this, but if you're wearing Christian Louboutin Lady Peep black patent leather Pumps, it'll just cram your toes into those wicked points and stretch them out of shape. It will hurt a lot more, too! Another idea is to sort of reach forward with your toes and try to land the whole shoe (NOT the foot) either flat or with the heel striking just before the toes. Try to get that heel planted correctly before you shift your weight from the back foot to the front as this will prevent much of the sliding and ankle-wobble that you see. Take your time and walk as casually as you can. Not only will this give you time to balance as you go but you'll look very confident as you stroll across the lobby. Swing it from the hips, keep those shoulders back, and enjoy your evening. And if you really must move quickly, take the suckers off and carry them - it's safer and adds a splash of devil-may-care attitude.
